Hawai'i's Public Charter Schools are subject to NCLB

NCLB is a federal law that requires public schools (K-12) to demonstrate student proficiency and progress. Each school must report their test scores for math and reading annually. These scores, along with other factors (like teacher qualification and graduation rates) make up the school's Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) report. Schools that fail to meet AYP over several years face corrective action or restructuring.

Links to each charter school's AYP results can be found in the charter school profile directory: [add link when available]
