Kualapu’u School is a public conversion charter school for students in kindergarten through sixth grades. Teachers must meet Hawaii Teachers Standards Board certification/licensure and must be “highly qualified” under the federal No Child Left Behind requirements.

The Vice Principal position is located at Kualapu’u School and reports to the School Principal. The position assists the Principal in implementing the school’s strategic plan and detailed implementation plan. Specific assignments include but are not limited to developing and implementing the student support services section of the strategic plan. The position may be assigned duties as indicated by the school’s strategic plan.

The purpose of the position to provide planning, research, and resource development support to the school to ensure continued program funding through legislative, business, and community networking, program development and review, grant writing, assessment, and evaluation.
