Local school boards are reviewing the contents of the 2006-07 MOA with the Department of Education.

This year, for the first time, this MOA is split into two agreements: an agreement for systemic support services and an agreement for services to the individual schools.

The systemic agreement covers services that help the charters as a group and should be available system-wide. The CSAO will pay for these services – not individual schools.

The individual schools can decide whether to contract with the Department for various reports (like the Senior Exit Plans Survey and Standards-based Report Card) and/or payroll and personnel services. For those school choosing to enter into this MOA, a signed copy must be submitted by August 15, 2006.
