NASCA Revises Authorizing Principals and Standards

Revised Principles and Standards available along with Self-Evaluation Instrument

The National Association of Charter School Authorizers (NASCA) has revised its Standards and Practices for Authorizing Quality Charter Schools.

First published in 2004, NASCA documented these principals in order to answer the question: "What is quality authorizing?" These principles reflect the lessons learned by experienced authorizers and are aimed at providing a framework fo authroizing practice.
